Category: Puerh

Green Puerh is polished, dry, and satisfying and is a sheng or raw puerh, meaning it is naturally fermented over time. The large leaves are ideal for re-steeping your tea. Brew a touch longer if you like your tea sharper and with a bite.

This exquisite tea comes from Jingmai Mountain in Yunnan. The Dai people have hand-picked the ancient tea trees for millennia, ensuring quality and continuing this time-honored tradition. Our Green Puerh comes from a region in southern Yunnan where the 700 to 1,000 year old ancient tea trees grow. In addition to producing teas with remarkable flavor and flexible steeping quality, the ancient tea trees thrive in a diverse forest that provides rich antioxidants and nutrients. Give it a sip, and participate in the tradition.

Adam O. ★★★★★

Didn't expect the dry, polished leaf to open up this much on the second steep. I've been re-steeping the same leaves all morning and it just keeps giving. Brewing it a touch longer really pulls out the flavor.

Kevin R. ★★★★★

The big whole leaves hold up through at least five or six steepings, and the flavor just shifts and softens instead of going flat. It's dry and clean tasting, not muddy at all, which is exactly what I wanted from a raw puerh.

Nicholas ★★★★☆

The large leaves hold up well through several steeps, still giving a solid flavor by the fourth or fifth pour. It's a bit drying on the finish if I overdo the leaf, but that's on me.
