Didn't expect the dry, polished leaf to open up this much on the second steep. I've been re-steeping the same leaves all morning and it just keeps giving. Brewing it a touch longer really pulls out the flavor.

The big whole leaves hold up through at least five or six steepings, and the flavor just shifts and softens instead of going flat. It's dry and clean tasting, not muddy at all, which is exactly what I wanted from a raw puerh.

The large leaves hold up well through several steeps, still giving a solid flavor by the fourth or fifth pour. It's a bit drying on the finish if I overdo the leaf, but that's on me.
