Lace Strainer - Main image

Category: Teaware

Our Lace Strainer lets you use a pour-over brewing style for your tea. Brew your tea in a tea pot, cup, glass jar, or other vessel, letting your tea fully infuse with all the space it needs. Place the strainer on your tea cup, and pour the tea into your cup. The lace strainer will capture any tea leaves from entering your tea cup. Set in the metal dish that accompanies the strainer when done.

Forget the cramped tea ball or infusion basket, this pour over style of strainer is the best shot at allowing your whole leaf tea to fully unfurl and brew.

One strainer, cup not included.

Thomas V. ★★★★★

I've been brewing loose leaf in a glass jar and this strainer sits right over the rim, so the leaves finally have room to open up instead of crammed in a ball. Pour-over style really does taste different.

Madison T. ★★★★★

The mesh is fine enough that even my smallest broken leaf pieces stay put, and I love that I can just drop it over a glass jar and let the leaves open up fully. Pour-over style really does make a difference in how the tea tastes.

Stella ★★★★★

Using a teapot instead of a gaiwan for my oolongs has been a game changer, and this strainer sits right on the rim so the leaves get the full space of the pot to open up. Cleanup is quick too.
