The cinnamon really leads the charge here, and that huckleberry tang balances it perfectly—it’s bold without being cloying. Steeped it for five minutes and the sweet-tart contrast stayed strong right down to the last lukewarm sip.
The tart berry notes hit first and then the cinnamon warms up on the finish—really nice balance between the two. Brews up a deep red that smells as bold as it tastes. Only wish the bag had a bit more leaf for the price.
The cinnamon is definitely the star here, and the berry tang keeps it from being too heavy — I've been reaching for it on chilly afternoons. Only downside is the flavors fade a bit fast on the second steep, but the first cup is worth it.
